The Dozuki 9.5" Crosscut is a Japanese hand saw built for accurate shoulder cuts and fine joinery work. Filed with 25 TPI crosscut teeth and a thin 0.011" blade, it delivers clean cut surfaces with exceptional control across the grain. The rigid back design helps guide straight cuts while maintaining the blade stability needed for precise layout work.

A 240 mm SK85 Japanese tool steel blade combines fast cutting action with the refined surface quality expected from a professional-grade Dozuki saw. The premium solid brass back reinforces the blade without sacrificing cutting feel, while brass hardware allows straightforward blade replacement when needed. The narrow 0.02" kerf removes less material, helping preserve layout accuracy and reduce cutting effort.
The dark-stained Japanese Wingnut handle is wrapped with natural rattan to improve grip and comfort during extended use. The squared blade tip provides quick visual identification from the matching rip-cut version. Crafted in Japan, this saw is suited for tenon shoulders, dovetail shoulders, Kumiko work and other fine crosscut applications in both softwoods and hardwoods.
